Halloween Horror Nights and Express Pass

Hi,

I know this has been asked before but don%26#39;t know if there was a definitive answer (and can%26#39;t find the thread). If you stay onsite at Universal does your room key act as an express pass for the HHN or do you have to buy the express pass?

I thought as Steve%26amp;Nikki are back on the forum, we would get a definate answer. Fingers crossed :o)

No the room ticket will not work. HHN is a special event with a seperate ticket purchase required as well as a seperate express pass needed.

And I wouldn%26#39;t go without the express pass, the lines are too long and you won%26#39;t get to see hardly anything. Last year some houses had 2 hour waits and the park is only open 5-6 hours for this event.

the above poster is correct. room key express passes will work only during regular hours. to bypass the lines for the haunted houses you need to fork over extra for the HHN express pass. here is an FAQ from the HHN site confirming the info and in case you have more questions:
