Hi all,
My family and i are first time visitors and are looking for an upscale, beachfront condo/ home rental in the sarasota area. We are a mom, dad and 20 month old + one set of grandparents. Idealy we need a three bedroom. We would love beachfront and tennis courts. What area / names of complexes do you suggest? Our budget is pretty open... $300+ a night. Weekly between 2K-5K. Also, we are thinking of going in July... so off-season, right?
Also, what are some must-sees?
Thanks so much for your thoughts and advice!

Sarasota beach front and upscale
Longboat Key Club is a full-scale resort, including two golf courses and 38 tennis courts. It is on the beach and close to St. Armands Circle with its upscale shops.
Another option is Cedars (www.cedarstennisresort.com), also on Longboat. That is strictly a condo/time-share kind of place; not directly on the water but an easy half-block walk from it.
Have a look at annamaria.com
Upscale properties on Anna Maria Island which I think has more character than places like Longboat Key.
Guess who
fair point !!
Everyone has different ideas / tastes / things they look for.
SRQgirl, the only thing I don%26#39;t care for about Jamaica Royale is that their balconies aren%26#39;t at least screened in. They are completely open allowing those hungry mosquitoes to come in and ';feast';.
You bring up a good point.
During high season (winter) there aren%26#39;t any mosquitoes. Everyone loves Jamaica Royale and the open balconies. (I hear complaints from TA posters about condos that have screened in lanais.)
So, each season and condo has it%26#39;s pluses and minuses! ;-)
