Dinner/activity ideas for a romantic long weekend

We (late 40 ish couple) will be going to Sanibel in about a week. We are both casual types...nothing fancy. I would love to hear your suggestions for dinner as well as perhaps a bar with music. We hope to go sea kayaking, bike riding and walk the beach.

Anything else that you would suggest would be very much appreciated.....thank you in advance!

For night/late night entertainment, on Sanibel...go to the Jacaranda. Live music, dancing, you can grab light/late dinner at the bar. For music at sunset...the Mucky Duck. Drinks and apps outside, beautiful view. Kayak in the Ding Darling out of Tarpon Bay Explorers and take the tram tour through Ding Darling. Enjoy(:D

Ellingtons at the Sanibel Inn is a Jazz Club/ restaurant that is a good choice. La Vigna is a fine Italian restaurant with a more adult atmosphere. Kayak the mangroves at Tarpon Bay- it%26#39;s a great way to see the refuge and wildlife. Go to Captiva or ';Santiva';- maybe dinner at the Sunset Grill and watch the sun set from there...

Remember: Nude bathing on the beach is prohibited on Sanibel! ;)

Old Captiva House at Tween Waters Inn is one of the best restaurants around and is a good choice for some entertainment on Mondays and Weds with NASCRAB races at the Inn%26#39;s bar. They also have intermittent live entertainment.

Mondays and Thursdays at Tweenies for NASCRAB. Sigh! I must stop rushing.
