I%26#39;m trying to find a spot on AMI for the last weekend in April. Choice #1 is Harrington House but they (as of yesterday) had one room (Huth suite 4) left due to a wedding on site. My question for those that have been there....if it is a large wedding party will there be a lot of ';hub bub'; that wouldn%26#39;t normally occur? My employer has given me a few days away to learn some new software and suggested that I take my wife along too. I%26#39;d really like a place right on the beach for her or at most a block off the beach. Thanks for your input.
First timer, hopefully ..... with ?
I%26#39;ll let RustyKat give you guidance on where to stay, but I must comment, ';What an understanding employer!'; ... Any positions open? LOL. You chose a very good area to do this. Remember to go to the Rod %26amp; Reel Pier restaurant and have crabcakes. Oh, and while there check out the unique names for the restrooms.

I guess there will naturally be more ';hub bub'; than normal but bear in mind this is not a big place so there will never be hoards of people about.
However, there are lota of other places to choose from depending on what you are looking for, budget etc. The vast majority of other places ( if not all ) won`t be bed and breakfast but condos or houses.
Have a look at La Costa, annamaria.com ( for some really upscale places), Tortuga Inn, Bradenton Beach Club etc etc.
I wish my employer would send me to AMI to have some quiet time. In fact I wonder what their response would be if I asked ??
Slayman, If the Harrington House is open, BOOK IT! It is a wonderful place and I know you would enjoy. I habe stayed there while a wedding was taking place and it did not bother us at all, in fact we were invited to have a glass of wine with the bride and groom. This time of year, you would be very lucky to get that room! The are no negatives about the Harrington House!
If that doesnt work for you I would suggest the Tortuga Inn.
