HELP with Romantic Beach spot

OK, we have searched and searched and searched and now I need your help! Does anyone have a recommendation for a nice romantic spot along the east coast? We%26#39;d like the beach or as close to it as possible. We have looked at a B%26amp;B in Ocracoke, NC but as much as I want to relax I%26#39;m worried I%26#39;d get bored.

We are driving from East TN and would like to keep the under 12 hours. We are also open to flights if they aren%26#39;t too expensive!

HELP! HELP! HELP! We will look at spots in VA, NC, SC, GA, or FL

HELP with Romantic Beach spot

Have a look at Anna Maria Island Florida (Gulf Coast ).

Really laid back place, no high rise buildings, no chain restaurants.

Lots of good local places to eat, great beach and friendly locals.

Where to stay depends on budget but no hotels as such ( only Harrington House B%26amp;B ) , houses and condos to rent, some are right on the white sand beach.

Great, I%26#39;ll check these out. Thanks!!

hi, i have always loved treasure island on the gulf, been every year for 12 years, in fact im going in sept to renew my wedding vows on the beach, it has FAAAB SUNSETS !!!!

Look at Amelia Island, FL. The drive isn%26#39;t bad from TN, it%26#39;s right off the coast of Jacksonville. A very quaint town with lots of 1800s Victorian homes in the historic district, good seafood at a reasonable price. We went there a few months ago and rented a condo on the beach very reasonably. It was perfect!

Thanks for the tip... I see you%26#39;re from Naples. We have been looking at going there or Sarasota but can%26#39;t settle on anything. What are your thoughts?
