Hi All,
We are staying in the HGVC near International Drive for a few days in July.
We are not hiring a Car.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend any nice Restaurants nearby

Outback Steakhouse is across the street, can recommend highly. I can also recommend you hire a car as well, otherwise you will find getting around very tiresome and very hot.

The HGVC is a huge resort on the much quieter south end of i-drive. Other than the Outback, there isn%26#39;t a lot of choice for meals out. A car would give 5 min access to both Lake Buena Vista, and further north i-drive.
There may be an I-ride or lynx bus stop outside, so it may be possible to access more Restaurants by way of these. Scan60 is the man with the finger on the transportational pulse.
Thanks for your replies.
Neither of us drive so hiring a Car isnt an option.
Food court at the outlet mall. You could also walk down to the interesction of vineland and 535 (about a 10 min walk) and there are several resturants there.
There are three bus services right outside. They are:
LYNX 8
LYNX 42
These services operate along I-Drive to Prime Outlet and then beyond.
I-RIDE TROLLEY
Also operates along I-Drive to Prime Outlet.
There are loads and loads of restaurants along I-Drive of all tastes and budgets. Between them and the walkable ';Outback'; (which I also heartily recommend) you will be totally spoilt for choice.
Don%26#39;t be afraid of riding the buses. They are cheap ($1.75 each one-way ride, daily and weekly tickets available too) and frequent and run until the small hours of the morning (Mon-Fri; late evening on Sat and Sun). You can get schedules for the LYNX services at www.golynx.com and note that you can also use them to get to Disney, Universal, the Florida Mall, all over the area generally.
By the Outback and the Publix grocery store across the street, there is a Tokyo Sushi place, and also a McDonalds, and a Nacho Mexican and Cuban place, and a Quizno%26#39;s subs. They are all within easy walking distance of the resort.
Farther down Vineland Ave (the road that HGVC and Premium Outlets are on), there is a Carrabba%26#39;s Italian Grill, then even farther at Vineland Ave. and 535, there is a Golden Corral (buffet), Landry%26#39;s Seafood, and Bahama Breeze. It would be a long walk to these places; a taxi would be preferable, if the buses don%26#39;t run that way.
