First Time Visitor to Orlando

Hi, family have just finalised trip to US. Spending first 5 days in NYC and then travelling down to Orlando. I have an 11 yr old and 17 yr old with me. Although we have been to Disney Paris in past, am wondering what are the best option vis-a-vis tickets for family and what park to avoid/visit. Staying on International Drive, so quite close to Parks. Any tips.

We stay on I drive and visit all the Disney Parks and both universal ones. We personally prefer Universal studios to IOA as we love to ride the movies but if you want extreme roller coasters you would probably prefer IOA.

I would avoid Wet n wild - The Disney waterparks are much better!

Don%26#39;t know what your budget is like, but Discovery Cove takes some beating. You get to swim with dolphins and the day is all inclusive, so all meals, snacks, drinks are included. When you book it, the price includes a 7 day pass to either Seaworld or Busch Gardens (you choose which). Both of these parks are amazing.

I agree with previous post about giving Wet %26amp; Wild a miss. It has some good slides, but is too concretey for my liking.

if you have the time, i would try to visit all the parks. that means Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Seaworld, and Busch Gardens. i would also try to visit at least two waterparks, the best being Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. i wouldn%26#39;t necesarily say STAY AWAY from Wet %26#39;n Wild, it is fun park and lots for teens to do, just don%26#39;t make it a top priority. there is also the new waterpark made by seaworld, Aquatica, which IMO is great but is like a brand new, colorful, wet %26#39;n wild. and there is also Discovery Cove to consider, which is a sort of ';luxury'; themepark where you can swim with dolphins and other marine animals.
