Siesta Sunset vs Capri vs Crescent Towers - any thoughts?

Still trying to decide where to stay. I think I have it narrowed down to these three based on budget and location.

The most important things to us are:

clean

decent pool

closeness to beach

I have looked at the websites for Siesta Sunset and Crescent Towers. The capri%26#39;s website is down for renovations, but I looked at Sara Sea%26#39;s website. It is just so hard to tell how nice a place really is from the website.

Thanks for the vote for Crescent Towers. It is great to hear opinions from people who have seen these places in real life.

I booked the Capri Inn for June 27 for 2 nights and saw the rooms on the net prior to the website going down for renovations. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for. We were looking for a cute place, quiet, not a lot of people. Didn%26#39;t have to be on the beach, but close and a decent looking room. I am hoping I made the right decision......Anyone else stayed here or seen the rooms since the hotel was updated????

We have stayed next to the Crescent Towers. They are small cute units I would only recommend the units that are beach front, they tend to be better taken care of. We now stay at the Crescent Arms 2 bedroom units. Cathyscrescentcondos.com

You may want to consider sea club v. It is the only resort on sara sea circle that is on the beach and they offer many things that are included in the price like beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. It is much easier having those available and not have to drag them to and fro. Also the resort was just totally renovated and they have a great pool and hottub.

Stayed at Crescent towers last summer and are going again this summer. Had an ocean front unit. It was clean and comfortable.Also, great to walk out your door to the beach. Great value for the money. units are efficiencies. Peggy

Peggy, my husband and I have decided on a beachfront unit at Crescent Towers for our stay in November but still need to pick which one. Any suggestions? We thought we%26#39;d like the second floor for the view.

Hi Pat Picks, We are staying at Crescent Towers in June. We picked ground floor ocean front because we have young children so when we come back from the beach we can drop everything on the screened porch instead of hauling it all back up the stairs. If it was just my husband and I, we would be staying on second floor for the view. You can also view each unit on their website, call first and see which ones are available. Be sure to decide soon, it is a small place with not a lot of units and they book up quickly.

Thanks for your input. Actually I%26#39;ve already checked out the online photos of each second floor unit. Just looking for feedback from someone who may actually have seen them in person. Occasionally in our travels we%26#39;ve been disappointed with the actual vs. the virtual.
