weekend flea market

Can anyone tell me about the flea market located outside of KW? Where is it (MM)?

I%26#39;ll be driving down on a Saturday morning and may be interested in stopping if it is more than tables of Chinese imported stuff. I like to check out what others have dug out of the shed, garage or attic.

What would I find there?

There%26#39;s one in Big Pine (MM30). It%26#39;s bigger in the winter when the snowbirds are here but it%26#39;s still OK. Farm fresh food, clothing, hammocks, cheapo watches and glasses, gimmicks and the guys who are selling the contents of their sheds. I like the old geezer who sells mini donuts right out of the oil and the guy who sells little tool parts (drill bits, fittings, wire brushes, guy stuff) best. There is a lot of tropical clothing, cheesy stuff, plants, books, and yes the guy that%26#39;s emptying his shed.

Is it on Saturdays? Any other days?

Sat and Sunday, until 2ish. Then go to Boondocks, play some mini golf and have lunch.

My hubbie will enjoy the guy w/ the small tools. Right up his alley, as a weekend gunsmith.

Hope we can get there by 11-12 noon. We%26#39;re spending our first week in Boynton Beach and driving down on Sat, 5/31.

Incidentally, there is a flea market this Saturday at the new VFW on Roosevelt.

It%26#39;s called Help A Hero, and it starts at 8 AM.
