If i have a one day disney ticket, would i be able to leave MK and re-enter on the same day? are there shuttles from MK to downtown disney?

Yes, if you have a one day ticket, you can leave and reenter that same park on the same day.

You could only go to a second park if you have park hopper option.

There are no direct busses between Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. You would have to go to a resort, then change busses or you could take the monorail from M.K. to one of the three monorail resorts and catch the bus to DTD from there.

Thanks! if we leave MK to drive to DTD would we have to pay again to park at MK when we return?
