Accomodation close to Crossroads at LBV?

Hi all,

Would appreciate an info and/or opinions regarding %26#39;reasonably priced%26#39; (highly subjective, I know) family accomodation close to the Crossroads at Lake Buena Vista shopping centre.

I%26#39;ve had a look at past forum posts and have noted down a few suite hotels but cannot yet tell which %26#39;vacation communities%26#39; (eg. Windsor Hills) or condominium complexes are closest to this area.

Was in this area as a couple many many years back and remember the convenience of being able to walk to both Disney Marketplace shops and Crossroads eateries and supermarket at the end of the day.

Would like to stay in same area with family....prices permitting. :-)

I think the Country Inn and Suites is really good value and very close to Crossroads and lots of restaurants

Here%26#39;s a list of some in the immediate area (these are not on Hotel Plaza Blvd):

Orlando Vista Hotel,

Doubletree-Club,

Holiday Inn Express,

Radisson,

Days Inn,

Courtyard

I don%26#39;t anything but suite hotels that are convenient to the Crossroads-never seen any condos but then we dont%26#39; stay in them. We like the Summerfield suites LBV,the Residence Inn LBV,the country Inn and suites LBV and the Sheraton Safari.the doubletree Guest suites is at Downtown disney,also very nice

A few weeks ago we stayed at Hawthorne Suites, LBV, it is located on Palm Parkway. Very close to Crossroads. All rooms are suites. Our suite had a kitchen, living room, and bedroom (2 double beds), bathroom. We thought it was very nice. Outside pool, whirlpool, basketball. Free breakfast, during the week free beer/wine 5-7pm. Price around $165 per night, but probable can get better price on internet.
