Universal with neck problems? Do we do?

We (Husband, 16year old son, and myself) will be in Orlando at the end of July for 4 nights. We are thinking of doing Universal and IOA. I have whiplash and looking at the rides, they all say you need to be free of neck problems. Are the rides really that bad for neck problems or are they being safe? If they are bad, is it worth going without doing the rides. My son enjoys rides, but does not really want to go on all the rides alone as husband doesn%26#39;t enjoy them. Is it worth going? We will be going to Kennedy for one day. Am trying to decide what to do the other two days? Please give me your feedback. Thanks

Similar dilemma with us (husband with bad shoulder!)

I think we`ll probably abandon our plans to go to Busch Gardens (too many tempting rides) in favour of Cypress Gardens or Kennedy Space Center.

But I reckon Universal and IOA are still worth doing. True - there are some wicked rides, but there are also lots of shows and virtual reality stuff to enjoy.

Cypress Gardens sounds like a good idea. I didn%26#39;t even think of it. I%26#39;ll have to look into it. Do you know how far it is from Orlando?

With neck problems I would avoid the Revenge of the Mummy ride it really throws you around and jolts you. Can%26#39;t comment on the rollercoasters at Universal as I did%26#39;nt do them. Had no problems with any other rides.

Do you know if Men in Black, Twister, The Simpsons are really jolting. If those rides aren%26#39;t to bad, it would probably be worth going. Thanks for all the feedback.

If you%26#39;ve got whiplash I%26#39;d recommend taking it easy and waiting till you visit again. Don%26#39;t risk it, if you damage your neck further, it may never get better fully, necks are very easy to damage.

Check with your doctor first.

Men in Black is no problem. And we`re hoping to do Spiderman as well
