Hiya folks

me and my son are staying at the Best Western Movieland opposite Wet and Wild, what is that part of I drive like, please dont tell me its a bad area! I%26#39;m not bothered, twelve years of kick boxing will do that but got my son with me, and please let me know anything about the area, resturants and if anyone has stayed at the hotel that would be much appreciated

No, that%26#39;s not really a bad area of I-drive at all. Very crowded with hotels, stores, restaurants, and people are everywhere.

The north end of I-Drive is kinda the ';cheesy'; end of the road. I stayed in this area last Septmeber and walked everywhere in the vacinity with no problems at all.

Movieland

We stayed there last year and really enjoyed it, handy for when your having a day off from the parks and want to have the day at wet n wild. Also you have a Black Angus Steak House right next door which ok isn%26#39;t the best steak house but very handy and you get discount on breakfast. My hubby can%26#39;t wait to get back thisnyear for a philly cheese steak sandwhich (1st port of call after getting to villa).

There%26#39;s also a lady called Lisa in reception who sell park tickets but will tell you all the places to go and the cheapest way of doing it.Hope you enjoy your hol there we certainly did.

Hey Billy - we%26#39;ve been to Orlando about 8 or 9 times now, and every time (bar 1) we%26#39;ve stayed on I Drive between Sandlake Road and Universal Boulevard.

We%26#39;ve stayed in several hotels, including BWM which we thought great despite the large gap between the door and the floor, but choose to stay in that area for the very purpose of being able to have a stroll around in the evening after a hard day at the parks/shopping etc.

In all the times we%26#39;ve stayed there we%26#39;ve never once seen any trouble. We%26#39;ve just used our common sense when out and about in the evenings. That area of I Drive is full of people just doing the same things - am sure you%26#39;ll have a great time.

Just answered your question re%26#39; Outback on other post.. Didnt know you were staying at Movieland.You are on Bus Stop. No. 9.You need to get the Main Line South Bound bus to Outback on Bus Stop No. 40.(Main line south is a red background with yellow writing.)
