If you had to choose which would it be? I can%26#39;t make up my mind. We are on a budget and really can%26#39;t justify both. They both will run us a little over $200. I think MNSSHP would be fun but w/ the Water Parks and more you get more visits and more to do. We are going in September. I%26#39;d love other%26#39;s opinions. Thanks:)
MNSSHP or Water Parks and more?
How many days are you visiting and how many of the ';WP%26amp;M options'; will you have?
While the MNSSHP is great, I would only ';overrule'; the WP%26amp;M option with the party tickets if your kids are really into Halloween and trick-or-treating and costumes, etc.
You%26#39;ll have much more versitility with the WP%26amp;M option.
MNSSHP or Water Parks and more?
We will be staying for 10 nights and have the 10 day passes. The ';Unofficial Guide'; says that gives you 6 days for water parks and more. However, Mousesavers says as of 8/07 you get 10 days. Not sure, but we definitely wouldn%26#39;t use 10 days at water parks any way.
I know the kids and I would love the water parks but my hubby pretty much hates swimming. (I know, what planet is he from). He did express interest in seeing Disney Quest.
I think the MNSSHP sounds like great fun. However, it would be very disappointing if it turned on being a stormy night like I heard of last year. Also, some reviews say there were virtually no crowds while others say it was very crowded.
i would personally go for the waterparks. the party is only a few hours long, while the waterparks can give you days of fun.
and there isn%26#39;t really any swimming involved at either of the waterparks (strangely enough) except for a few attractions like the wave pools, which he could easily skip. any other water, like at the end of slides, is not swimming water. you can easily stand up in it. and the lazy river is only about 3 ft deep. so as long as your husband stays out of the pool he won%26#39;t need to swim.
i can almost guarantee that if you choose the waterparks, none of you will care too much that you missed MNSSHP.
I think the crowds at the MNSSHP vary depending on the night you choose to go.
Early in September on a weeknight probalby isn%26#39;t crowded, but late in October or on a weekend probably is.
As for those thunderstorms, they were rather vicious last year as I can personally attest to; the worst I%26#39;d ever seen in September.
Remember, you can use more than one WP%26amp;M option per day if you like. The options are ';timed'; by date and you can use as many per day as you choose.
