Flying into Tampa - don't want to rent a car

Are there other ways to get to the island from Tampa? Shuttle? Boat? Can anyone recommend anything?

You could maybe take a taxi--probably an arm and a leg, at least. No shuttle, no boat. There is a shuttle from the airport that I believe lands at Manatee Memorial hospital, then would have to taxi from there. At least 2-3 hours, and who know how much $.

I drive back and forth from the Tampa airport area to Bradenton weekly and have seen a shuttle/van service, unfortunately I can%26#39;t remember the name of the service.

Maybe someone can help?
