Renting if under 25

I am 23 and my friends and I will be using my credit card to try to rent a condo, seeing that I am the only with a big enough credit limit. There will be a 25 year old with 2 or 3 other 23 year olds. Will any condos let me reserve a room even thought I will have an ';adult'; with us?

I don%26#39;t think the credit card matters as much as the fact that most of you are under 25. While, generally speaking, under 25s cannot rent, there may not be any problem with the 25 year old making the reservation in his or her name and putting it on your credit card.

Just have the 25 year old call the rental agent and explain the situation. If they say you can rent, the 25 yo can reserve it on your card. Also, if you are told by the rental agent that you can rent a condo, I suggest getting the name of the person who told you, just in case there is a problem later. Maybe even confirm it in an e-mail. The last thing you want is to get to Destin and not be able to check in.

And, for what it is worth, I have seen rental agencies checking IDs when young people checked in. It was spring break but they may check other times as well.

Bayside Inn in Sandestin is probably your only option. You only have to be 21 to rent there if you do it through the Sandestin resort.

Holiday Inn will rent to you, however, they are not a condo, just a hotel.

There use to be 1 on floridavacations.com that advertised renatl at any age. I think some condos might be getting more slack on the rules because we saw many groups of young adults that I would be surprised if anyone was 25. When we went in May. Just ask I think you may be surprised. Especially if 1 is 25 they probably don%26#39;t care where the money is coming from as long as it is coming.
