Best part of island- for pregnant lady!

Hello everybody- I am planning my first trip to Anna Maria Island this summer and would love some advice on which part of the island to stay in (ie Holmes Beach, Bradenton?) Or is the island so small that it doesn%26#39;t matter where you stay?

I will be 6 months pregnant when I visit the island so want to be close to the beach as well as restaurants.

Also do you need a car?

When in summer??

I guess the Island is small enough to stay wherever you like...

All is calm and all is relaxed.

Of course you don´t want to walk long to the beach!

there are restaurants and shops in every part of the island.

but yes, you will need a car... The free trolley is running though but I guess for shopping and getting around a car is much more comfortable!

Hi! thanks for your advice. I%26#39;m going in July. I know it will be hot but I like Florida off season!

July is a nice time...
