don cesar or sandpearl???

My husband, 4 year old son and I are planning a trip to Clearwater area at the end of April. I am pregnant and our son is disabled (not that it matters, but accessibility would be nice...

Which hotel do you recommend? Don Cesar or Sand Pearl?

Which beach area is nicer? Which hotel is nicer? Which location is better? Why???

We plan to hang out by the beach for a few days, then make a few day trips here or there.

They are both very nice hotels - A couple of the nicest in the area. The Don is an older hotel, but is kept up very nice, and the Sandpearl just opened last Summer. The beach near the Don will be a bit less crowded than Clearwater. The beach is very nice at both. About the biggest difference (besides the older/newer hotel itself) will be the location. The Don is a little less crowded of an area, and you would need a car or taxi/trolley to get to restaurants, shops and activities. Little will be in walking distance. At the Sandpearl, you will be able to walk to a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as Pier60 and activities/watersports.
