WDW November 1-5 2008

My family and I are planning a trip to Disneyworld 11/1-5. I recently received a mailing from Disney with 20% for the fall, but it excepted the week we were planing on going (of course!). My question is, why? Is there something going on then that would make it extra crowded? We were planning on going then because we thought it might not be as crowded as the summer or spring break.

We are planning on staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

Well, that week isn%26#39;t as crowded as summer or spring break at all, but the Jersey week crowds are higher than the next week would bring.

I%26#39;ve been during these days (Jersey Week) in the past and really didn%26#39;t see that much of an increase, but it could vary from year to year.

Jersey week, however, is probably the reason why those dates are excluded from your deal.

We were in Disney last year from Nov 1 -15, part of which was Jersey week and also Soap Opera weekend at the same time. We didn%26#39;t notice too much of a difference in crowds the first part of that week until Thurs - Sun. We just avoided MGM on the weekend. The week after was very uncrowded.
