Disney Tickets in September

Typically how many days do people take to visit the disney parks. Considering the crowds or lackthereof in September, is one day per park sufficient. Trying to work out what tickets to purchase. We will definitely do all 4 disney parks and maybe both water parks, probably just 1 though. Do not see us park hopping, don%26#39;t really see the benefit, but will we see each park in a day, and which ones would we be likely to visit twice?

Family coming from Australia for first time. Also will visit Universal and probably Sea World and/or Aquatica.

So what tickets do most purchase ?

Kinda depends on how many days you are staying....the more you play, the less you pay!

Well the difference between say a 5 day ticket and an 8 day one is very minimal, a few dollars really. So personally I%26#39;d tack on a few extra days just to play it safe, because in the end, you won%26#39;t be paying all that much extra if you don%26#39;t actually use those days on the pass.

hi millsy

we will be going in september for the first time also. when you book ask about the free dining plan, code avg or ayg. i think you should get the park hopper because if you are staying on property, you will have extra magic hours, when different parks are open 1 hour early or up to 3 hours late each day. and if you didnt get to ride one of your favorite rides one day, you can go the next, then go to a completely different park the same day. i wasnt going to get the park hopper either, because we are taking mostly young kids, but then the ride argument persuaded me. we will be there for 6 full days at least. if we can get a nice flight we will be there for 8 days. also you might want to look into a pass that allows you to go to universal studios and universal islands of adventure and seaworld and bushgardens. there is a special ticket that allows you to combine the 4 of those parks together. one of the pros in this forum will know the name of it.

Thanks everyone, we actually will be in Orlando area for 3 weeks so can spread out our theme park visits.

We are staying off property so will not have extra park hour advantage but since we are there so long believe that won%26#39;t matter. Also not doing dining plan.

Would love to know how to purchase tickets for 4 parks, Universal, Islands of Adventure, Seaworld and Busch if someone can help there.

Probably going to purchase tickets from Undercover Tourist. By the way would anyone risk waiting till you get to Orlando to buy theme park tickets at the gate, or in advance is the way to go ?

last thing I heard, was that the only resort avaible with free dining plan is All Star sports and movie.

and notice that ex magic hours are on certain days

Well you%26#39;ll be paying a bit more if you go through the Disney and Universal gate. Personally we get all our vacation passes, Disney or not, through AAA about a week before we leave. I%26#39;m guessing you can%26#39;t do that though, being in Aussie. If you feel comfortable getting them online in advance, I%26#39;d say to do that instead of the gate though.

How many people in your party and what are their ages?We went this past Sept.,two adults, one 8yr old girl.We had a 6 day ticket, did each of the parks once and repeated M.K. and Epcot. We didnt feel that we missed anything.Look into Mapleleaf for your tickets. You can have them delivered to your hotel and they are very reputable and always have the best prices (tax included).Dont count on realy low crowds this Sept. They are offering alot of deals to try and promote that season. This year it was way more crowded than it has been past Septs/Octs.You should still plan well.

if your going in september have you looked in to free dining at disney
