Looking for Suncoast Motel opinions, please

Has anyone stayed at the Suncoast Motel in TI recently? I%26#39;ve read many favorable reviews, but a few bad ones too. Not looking for anything too fancy. Just beachfront, decent sized heated pool and kitchen facilities.

I have reservations for October, two Forum members,

Bel0fasnty %26amp; Quinnesec checked the place out for me, they have been down there recently, said Suncoast is

a very nice, Mom %26amp; Pop place, they talked to guests

that were very happy with the place.

i rented an efficiency, go for it! Its a real nice place.

The two guys I mentioned were just down there in the past month, they both scoped out the place for me,

guests were very pleased.

Property is beautiful, lush gardens, wifi, pool,

so i have made reservations for the fall for 10 days!

I normally stay at Page Terrace, but they couldnot offer me an efficiency and I could not stay in a studio for 10 days, too small.

The people that own it are supposed to be very nice, so if your looking for a clean, nice, inexpensive Mom %26amp; Pop place this would be it.

Let me know when you are going and what you think of the place if you stay there/

have you guys read the latest review that was just posted on there? doesn%26#39;t sound real good. now, i know you have to take these reviews with a grain of salt, but this guy really went into detail about his experiences. i know some people are more picky than others about cleanliness, but he really portrays the owner as a lunatic. LOL! you have to read it- it%26#39;s a real hoot! for ya%26#39;ll sake, hope it%26#39;s not all true.

ellen, maybe you should change to the windjammer- you still have time and dolphin lady said the owner there served margaritas at the pool. how cool is that!

I saw the review, Im really not concerned, they had many good reviews, I will watch and if I think there will be a problem, I will go elsewhere.

The place looks so clean on the outside, I cant imagine it being dirty on the inside.

Plus, Quinnesec and BEL0FANTASY talked to the guests

and they were very pleased with the accomadations!

This was a month ago those guys were there, so I maybe their experience was exaggerated!

Im not worried. I will check my room out before I pay for it! I can always get a place elsewhere.

Hi Ellen,

I think the Suncoast look good also. We are staying at the Page for 2 weeks in Sept./Oct. This year we decided that we would look at a few other places while we are there since you can never be sure now if you can get a vacany at the Page and at least you have an idea what it may be like. We like Treasure Island round the Page, Bilmar, etc.

Those beach motels are what they are, they are not expensive but they are not the Taj Mahal either.

I think the Suncoast will be fine, I like the same area of beach you do, closer to stuff!

If you hear anymore bad stuff about Suncoast, let me know!

Maybe the disgruntled customer that portrayed the owner as a lunatic, was a Lunatic!

They may have given the place the white glove test.

If i hear anymore bad reviews, i will be wary, but the owner of the Suncoast can have a rebuttle to the bad review!

Some people are a pain in the a$$, and would not be happy with anything!
