Miami Shuttle Service

We are flying in early on a Sunday morning for a cruise. I%26#39;ve been trying to find a shuttle service that%26#39;s trustworthy and reliable. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

If you are going from the airport directly to the seaport, there is a uniformed dispatcher outside baggage claim who will put you into a taxi for a set fee of about $25 for your family and luggage. Taxis are either private 4 door cars, station wagons or mini vans and you can ASK to have a larger vehicle brought to you at no extra charge if you have lots of people or bags...

If you take a super shuttle - which also dispatches from the same area without need of a booking service, it is $15 per person. You would also have to wait for other people and perhaps make stops at other hotels en route. In my opinion - unless you are making this trip alone, a taxi is more economical and quicker.

Miami Shuttle Service

We have another group that has a hotel room, which we were planning on crashing as for a few hours so our kids can catch up on some sleep. Would you still recommend taxi service to take us to the hotel from the airport? And then what%26#39;s your suggestion for transportation from they hotel (Hyatt Regency Miami) and also for our return from cruise to airport. We are a party of 7 adults and 3 kids (all under 5).

The Hyatt is in Downtown so the flat rate via taxi would be around $22. If your group is too large, even 2 cabs would be less $$ than a per person rate via Super Shuttle. You could hire a private van but that%26#39;s just more work for you...

Some Downtown Hotels offer free shuttles to the Port. Have your friends ask if the Hyatt offers that service. If not, a taxi ride is under $10 as it is VERY close by...
