Boardwalk and Downtown Disney

Are these two places next to each other or far apart. Does the lynx take you there? We are staying across the street from Sea Worlk and will not have a car. How can we get there for cheap?

Boardwalk and Downtown Disney

They are not next door to one another as they are located in different sections of the Disney property. You can get from one to the other by Disney bus, however.

From the area around SeaWorld, you%26#39;ll need to catch the LYNX #50 bus, which will stop at Downtown Disney. Once you finish there, you can catch a bus to the Boardwalk by taking a Disney bus to the Boardwalk Inn.

You may find taxi is much faster, but not cheaper to get from SeaWorld area to DTD.

Boardwalk and Downtown Disney

We walked from downtown Disney to Boardwalk as they lead into each other.

Downtown Disney and Boardwalk do NOT lead into each other. Boardwalk is the area between Disney Studios and Epcot.

Are you sure about that? Did you actually walk from Downtown Disney to the Boardwalk?

It%26#39;s just that they are quite a distance apart on Buena Vista Drive, and there%26#39;s no sidewalks.

I would not advise doing this, as Disney really frowns on you walking their roads with no sidewalks.

listen to Kat..she is 100% correct. They are very far apart on a very busy road with no sidewalks.Cant tell you the bus info,as I always have my car.

The distance between Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk is about 3.5 miles along a busy road. There is a resort next to DD that goes around the lake buy cannot remember the name of it, Saratoga Springs?

The resort next to Downtown Disney is Saratoga Springs Resort. You can walk between them.

You can walk from Boardwalk Villas/Boardwalk Inn/Boardwalk to Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Yacht %26amp; Beach Club Resorts.

The other thing to remember is that Disney Transportation is for Disney Resort guests only. That%26#39;s what they say, but I have never been asked to show proof, nor have I ever seen anyone turned away. I guess during the extrememly busy times, they check, but don%26#39;t know for sure....

I think Disney transportation is free for anyone. From what I%26#39;ve read though I think there may be two kinds of Disney buses the actual Disney Resort buses and the buses for the non Disney hotels that are still on the Disney property that I have seen called the Disney campus buses and those ones may require your hotel Id. I am not sure of this or how you tell the difference but that is my take on what I%26#39;ve read so far.
