Flights are skyrocketing

We were all set to go Disney and Universal and were going to book our flights. When I went to complete our flights online you get a message that they are sorry that the price has increased about $140 in our case from Alexandria, LA to Orlando. There are 8 in our party going and hardly any website will let you put in more than 6. I don%26#39;t want to chance booking 6 than going back and booking the other 2. How do I handle this and should I wait to see if the price is going to come down? If it doesn%26#39;t we will probably cancel our trip.

Don%26#39;t use the computer to book call the airline itself and see what you can get that%26#39;s why I%26#39;m taking the train this year much cheaper than driving and flying what a shame.

Interesting as my flight from Vegas to Orlando on US Air just went down $300 from Monday to last night. I booked it when I saw it had gone down $200, should have waited a day! You just never know. Try a fare tracker service. Call the airlines direct for 8 seats.

Try sidestep.com they compare everyone at once. Expedia, individual airlines, etc. Once you find a flight and price you like, then CALL the airline itself. Be sure to write down the flight information that you found on sidestep - flight numbers, date, and times, and the price quoted.

They can pull the exact flight up on the computer and sell you all the tickets you need. You may not be able to sit together, but at least on the same flight. Tell them the price you were quoted and where you found it, they%26#39;ll match it.

FYI: Expedia airfare is cheaper on Wednesdays for some reason. Check your airfare at least every other day, sometimes more ';blocks'; are released and the price will go back down. That%26#39;s what I did, and purchased our tickets for a total of $430 less from KC to Orlando.

Don%26#39;t cancel your trip, just keep looking.
