We have never been to Panama City Beach and want to take the kids (1.5%26amp;5). We will be going in July for 4 days. I want something that has some areas for the kids as well as good beach area (not too crowded). I have looked on VRBO and I am overwhelmed! Can anyone suggest some resorts that might be good for us?
Thanks!

Everywhere you stay will be full of vacationers since July is the busiest month, besides spring break, in PCB. We stayed at Splash which your children would probably like at there age but for me there were too many kids in the pools and lazy rivers. We have also stayed at Sterling Beach on Thomas Drive. It never felt crowded there and they have a movie theatre on site. If you find something you like at a certain resort in PCB let us know and all of your fellow trip advisors will let you know if it is a good or bad place to stay. Was there anything that caught your eye on vrbo?

hopeforus,
I agree with dizzy about Splash and the crowds. Sterling Beach,The Gulf Crest, Seychelles, Treasure Island, Shores of Panama and Boardwalk Beach Resort Condo%26#39;s (not the motels) are all located on Thomas Dr. on the east end of the beach. Boardwalk has a children%26#39;s splash pad. The Majestic Beach Towers and Long Beach Resort on Front Beach Rd. Sunrise Beach Resort %26amp; The Tidewater are located on the West end of the beach near Pier Park. If you opt to stay at a hotel The Holiday Inn Sunspree would be a good choice lots of kid friendly activities %26amp; water play area for their age.
I hope this helps!

I forgot to mention that Holiday Inn %26amp; The Majestic offer movies on the beach Thursday-Sunday. Some of the others I mentioned may also. Check the condo website directly for the activities they offer. Also keep in mind that SOP charges a daily activity fee of $25 a day that they charge at check in. Several of their owners already include this or do not charge for it in their rate. Use vrbo to rent directly from the owner and you will save lots of $$$$$$.
Hey hopeforus
The Holiday Inn is very kid friendly but the rooms are in a major need of an upgrade. The spring breakers have taken their wrath out on the HI. We stayed there 5 years ago and then 2 years ago and were very surprised at how much it had went down. We started using vrbo to rent condos a couple of years ago and have been very happy. You get a bigger room for less money. We stayed at the Calypso last year and have already booked againg for this year. The vrbo # is 124754 if you are interested. Be sure to get one of the big beach umbrellas and a big beach blanket for the little one. The sun can take quite a toll on the little ones and the sun can be very bright glaring on the white sand. The 5 year old will have a big time in the water playing in the waves. Hope you have a great time.
