Ok please dont laugh ;)
But ghds here in ireland are really expensive all above EUR150.00 plus... and would love to know if they sell them over there any cheeper and if they do where, as would really love to infest in one, i no its not ur every day question. Sorry ;/ :)
Hair straightners
be careful, as American electricity is different to ours, that%26#39;s why we need to take travel adapters when we go, so any appliance you buy there, would need an adapter to fit our sockets/voltage
Hair straightners
I was thinking that and dont mind using the adaptors at all back here if it works out cheaper than here :)
They don%26#39;t do Ghd%26#39;s.
I took mine out there on my honeymoon and cause of the lower voltage they were naff, didn%26#39;t straighten a thing. I had to buy a cheap set from walmart or look like swamp thing all holiday and I looked for ghd%26#39;s but couldn%26#39;t find them!
I got my mk4 GHD%26#39;S off of ebay for about 拢60.. Mk 4%26#39;s are really good as they are dual voltage so will heat up perfectly in the US.
GHD Mark4%26#39;s are avaiable online for 拢90 deilvered (they are the ones that work in USA). that is well under 150E. Got some for chritmas, and they did work in the USA.
you can get cheap HS at walmart for $15, but they aren%26#39;t GHDs
I have no idea what you all are talking about with GHDs...BUT Target even has decent straighteners. I also like to shop at Ulta. Great selection there. Here%26#39;s the locations in the Orlando area:

Link posted funny. Still takes you to the store locater page. Use your smarts from there :)
RIGHT!
mk4 GHD%26#39;S for birthday now! if they work in the USA i want some esp as the pair I did buy from walmart just aren%26#39;t as good as ghd%26#39;s.
Kat, they are the best hair straighteners in the world. I swear.
Its not a good Idea to bring Hair straighteners form the US and use them over here. Remember our supply is twice as strong as americian domestic supplies
As they have an heater element they can quickly get far to hot. The little travel adapters you get from most stores are not designed to cope with an high demand of power like hair straighteners take.
And the straighteners and the adaptor may become dangerously hot.
If you are going to buy some to use over there fine, just buy a cheap pair from walmart / wallgreens .
But stay safe, and dont use them back home.
