virgin flights to orlando on time?

Can anyone tell me if virgin flights have been departing from gatwick on time in the last few weeks

and if they have also been on time departing from orlando airport for the return trip or have there been

delays? many thanks.

My niece flew out to Orlando from Gatwick on her honeymoon on Monday this week. Her plane took off 3 hours late. I think it was to do with severe weather in Orlando.

I have flown Vigin many times and rarely been delayed.

Hi I%26#39;m in Orlando just now and the plane was not delayed by any bad weather in Orlando might have been weather further north but not here.

It seems to me that Virgin have an ongoing problem with the Gatwick flight which averages a delay of 2-3 hours. This information we got from our management company as many of the guests they have usually fly Virgin. We flew from Glasgow with them on the 12th and were delayed 1/2 hour.

There has been problems with Virgin times for the past 4 months. My 10.15 flight took off at 1pm.....and coming back they changed the Manchester flight to make it the Gatwick flight as the Gatwick flight hadn%26#39;t even taken off and they cancelled the Manchester flight.

At check in they where an hour late opening and where trying to check 3 flights in at once with only 3 people at checkin...it was a nightmare. I am regular flyer and wrote a letter of complaint to Virgin Airlines and failed to even get a response so i have decided to fly with another airline in future.

Looks like in the last couple of days everything has been on time or thereabouts...

They always look on time on the screens, it when you get into customs and are waiting for the call, we went through and then sat around eventually got on the plane and sat there and sat there. Also on another flight when i checked in was told it had been moved from 10.15 to 11.15 and then we didnt get called until 12.15...nightmare..

Doesnt matter if its been ontime today, it may be a different aircraft rotation tomorrow so you cant judge the Orlando flights in general.

They swap aircraft between gatwick and manchester while they are in Orlando, so its very hit and miss
