No, the only ferry is from Naples to Key West,Fl. It is over 500 miles from Tampa to Cancun. There are cruise ships that go there from Tampa

You%26#39;re not dreaming -- there USED to be a car ferry that ran from Tampa to Cancun.

When they went out of business, they did so spectacularly, stranding people and their cars at the opposite end from where they lived.

It was a nice idea, but a lousy business.

There is a Ferry from Ft. Myers, Marco Island and Miami to Key West.

since i cannot get to cancun by boat i am open to suggestions.

i am planning a 7 day cruise from lauderdale. the cruise comes back dec 13 and i need something to do for 2 weeks until the next cruise leaves from miami. i am looking for a cheap place while i am ashore. i have investigated hostels in lauderdale and key west. i thought about volunteering if they will put me up for the night. i cannot pay $200 per night in a motel.
