Which resort offers a view of the nightly fireworks?

First time Disney visitor. I have very small children and don%26#39;t see us going out in the evening to see the magnificent fireworks. Can anyone recommend a hotel/Disney resort that would allow us to get a great view of the fireworks from our room?

The Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Fort Wilderness, and Wilderness Resort offers firework views. Also, The California Grill located on the 15th floor of the Contemporary Resort offers great firework views if you time your reservation right!

If you stay at any of the aforementioned resorts, you also get to see the nightly electric water pageant, which floats along Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. Check out buildabettermousetrip website for scheduled times.

You will definitely not see the fireworks from your room at the WL. The only guarantee view is from a Tower room facing Seven Seas Lagoon at the Contemporary. The Poly and Grand Floridian have a limited number of rooms where this can be accomplished.The higher the fl. at the Contemp the better.

I thought I had read there were a few rooms at the Wilderness Lodge to view the fireworks? Can you see them from the grounds outside?

The views of the M.K. fireworks from either Wilderness Lodge or Ft. Wilderness is great obstructed, now that all the trees have grown to full size.

If you want unobstructed views, where you can see and ';hear'; the music, you may have to go with Grand Floridian, Polynesian, or Contemporary.

It really would be worth it to try to go see at least one. Take a nap mid-day and go back for the fireworks. They all are truely magical and one of the best things to do at WDW.
