What is a town car ?

Reading about renting cars, and now about a town car is that another way of renting a car or ?

Town car is just a luxurious taxi, for the most part.

Sometimes also referred to as a limo.

What is a town car ?

A town car is a car that will be at the airport at the time of your arrival to specifically pick your group up and take you to your hotel. The reason I am considering it is more for the peace of mind of my return trip to the airport the day I leave instead of having to worry about calling for a taxi.

Ok thanks a lot, I think I would love a limo. And It didn麓t seem to expensive either, so one more thing to do when we come over.

I%26#39;ve used a Mears Town Car last two visits, booked and paid in advance on the web. Flawless on both occasions; waiting for us at the airport, exactly on schedule at the hotel for the return trip. Excellent, and barely more costly than a taxi.

It%26#39;s also a model of Lincoln

The town cars are one step under a limo. Does not look like a limo either. It is a Lincoln Town Car sedan. It includes a driver, and sometimes they will stand by baggage claim with a sign with your name on it. (That%26#39;s an extra service usually)

If you want an actual limo, you have to ask for that specifically, and it will be a higher price.

it is a big, posh saloon car like a mercedes, but a bit larger.

it is comfortable, spacious, and you have s driver sent to meet you, and you don%26#39;t need to wait in a taxi line. I think you will be happy with one.

A limosine is stretch and probably a bit ostentatious. Go for the Town car.

I read into this as you ';hiring'; a car as you say, for your own use. A Town Car is a rolling leather couch with an outstanding stereo and a nice V-8 engine. I drive one and they are fabulous....and if not heavy footed get decent gas mileage.

Since we haven麓t decided yet , if we are going to rent a car, or where to stay . We know we are going to stay with some friends a week or so, but then we are going to stay the rest of the time at a hotel outside diseyworld for a week. For special treat for my daughter who is going to be 6 year the 30 dec and probably will love Disneyworld at her bithday.

we hire a lincoln town car they are great if you plan on doing some serious travelling on the interstaes just do not expect them to go around corners very well
