Weather in 2nd Week of April

I went through a couple of post regarding weather around this time of year at AMI and I was happy with what I read until today. Today I checked weather.com for Bradenton Beach and it says next ten days of t-storm. On the other hand accuweather.com says rain starting Monday evening to Tuesday night. I do not know which one is right.

At this point of time, I cannot change my trip for next week. I would not expect the storm season to start anytime soon.

I need some advice from local people. I hope anyone from RustyKat, cbchrc, floridianer, Kris48 and other would respond to this post. In anticipation of your response thank you all of you for your time and sharing knowledge.

saumital, Calm down, dont even think of changing your trip, it is all good.

Yes, we are having a bit of a strange weather pattern, we usually dont have these summer like afternoon storms coming in from the south until later in the summer but they dont last all day. We had a welcomed storm yesterday (it has been dry) here in Tampa and it was a pretty heavy one but it cleared out in a couple of hours and took all the humidity with it and the evening was grand!

It%26#39;s Florida, a shower or two can pop up at any time but they rarely last for long periods of time unless there is a real storm brewing or some sort of front, and that is not the case here. April is a great time of year on the island, it will not be so hot/humid and the evenings will be perfect for walking along the beach with a light,long sleeved cotton shirt or jacket. Relax and have yourself some fun, you will be in paradise!
