moderately priced lodgings for female traveling alone?

I will be in the Orlando/Kissimmee area for business in the fall and am hoping to learn of moderately priced lodgings in neighborhoods that are generally considered safe (particularly as I%26#39;ll likely be returning relatively late in the evenings). I will have a car so am not limited to a particular area. It would also be great to find a place that tends to be relatively quiet (I%26#39;d rather shy away from those that are popular destinations for the teenage crowd!) Thank you!!

In the fall you%26#39;re not likely to find ';the teenage crowd';. They will be in school.

Orlando proper is quite some way from Kissimmee, so it would be good to know where your business dealings are if closer to one town than the other.

Honestly everywhere is pretty safe, where in kissimmee/orlando are you needing to be exactly? Gaylord Palms is a huge resort right in the middle so check the prices, it%26#39;s very very safe and nice might be a bit higher than moderately priced though. South end of international drive, check the Caribe Royale. Cypress Palms next to disney is quieter. South End of International Drive is less hustle and bustle too.

I%26#39;ll actually be in the general area of Gaylord Palms, but am hoping for something a bit less expensive. I%26#39;ll check out the ones you suggested; thanks!!

If that is the Gaylord Palms at 6000 W. Osceola Pkwy, it is about a mile North of Hwy 192 where there is just about every hotel you can think of, including a Holiday Inn, Hampton, and Homewood Suites.

I staid 3 nights alone at Cypress Pointe Grande Villas in Lake Buena Vista. It was quiet and I always felt safe. I think a studio (with a kitchenette) runs around $80/night. PM me if you have any questions!
