Lynx bus from Springhill suites to Universal Studios

I%26#39;m staying at the one on Universal, and I am wondering if there is one that is nearby that will take us to Universal Studios.

If I have the location you describe right, then, you will need to walk west across the parking lot to International Drive (2/3 minutes only). There take an 8 or 42 going North. Alight at either:

- The stop right after it crosses Sand Lake Rd. Walk back to Sand Lake Rd and then east to a stop on the north sidewalk of Sandlake. There take a 21 to Universal.

- A stop two traffic lights past Wet N Wild. Cross the street and take a 37 to Universal.

Either way you can ask the driver exactly where to transfer. Cost is $1.75 each person one-way, transfers are free. 21 and 37 both run every 30 minutes; 8 and 42 are frequent.

Get on at Sand lake just across from the side of the Wyndham, if you get on at Wet and Wild it takes about 30 minutes as the driver takes a break for 10-15 minutes and then goes round the world for a shortcut before reaching Sand Lake.

The comment above refers to catching the 21 at WetNWild. That%26#39;s not what I was saying. I don%26#39;t recommend this.

I DO recommend catching the 37 beyond WetNWild.

So, for clarity....

You get a 21 at Sand Lake Rd. You get a 37 beyond WetNWild. Either will take you to Universal. The 37 is quicker than the 21.

Thanks, it will be a little confusing, but hopefully the hotel will help me out. This should save some big bucks.

The RIGHT people to ask are the LYNX bus drivers. They are GOOD at this generally. They will tell you where to alight and where to cross the street, and so on.....

You might find that the hotel will recommend other, more costly ways to get about (eg paid-for shuttles and taxis).

So how far would on be from the gate upon arrival. Also is Universal City walk an easy walk? Just wonders as the wife will be 5 months pregnant by then.:)

At Universal, the bus pulls up right at the bottom of an escalator.

At the top of the escalator, there is a moving walkway. At the end of the moving walkway is City Walk.

At the far end of City Walk are Islands of Adventure and the Studio entrances.

Total distance from bus to turnstile, including the moving walkway.......maybe 1/4 mile. I don%26#39;t think there is any nearer access.
