Orlando

We will be in Orlando in june 09 for a week.Can some one tell me what westgate resorts are like as we will be staying at them...Adelaide Australia.

There are a few different Westgate resorts in the Orlando area, which are you staying at? I know of Westgate Lakes, Westgate Blue Tree, Westgate Towers.

I know Westgate Lakes is a nice resort, very large and decent amenities. It%26#39;s located about 5 minutes from SeaWorld and the international drive area, only 10 minutes from Disney and Universal, it%26#39;s right in the middle of those 2. Personally I think Westgate Towers looks run down from the outside but others who have stayed there think it%26#39;s fine on the inside. It%26#39;s located on highway 192, probably 10 minutes from Disney and close to restaurants.

The only word of caution I would give is that all the Westgate%26#39;s are timeshares and are notorious for sleazy salesman and high pressure sales. I%26#39;m not sure if you%26#39;re an owner already but I would avoid the sales presentation at all costs. If you DO like the resort and want to buy then buy on resale.
